Mr Lucky Mokwena - CEO & Founder

Through it’s passionate CEO & Founder Mr Lucky Mokwena, IPFA has developed an approach that addresses the challenges faced by ex-offenders in a holistic, culturally sensitive, and clear and concise manner, which takes a holistic and integrated approach to community development. IPFA recognizes that traditional government and non-governmental organisations (NGO’s) approaches systematize problems and produce programs that tend to target particular concerns in ineffective and unsustainable ways.

In response to this, IPFA offers services and programs that assist ex-offenders in effectively transitioning from prison to a productive and meaningful life in their communities. This is accomplished by utilising services such as:

  • Individual and family therapy;

  • Offender-victim dialogues;

  • Behavioral Intervention Programs;

  • Trauma Correctiveness Programs;

  • Mentorship Programs;

  • Socio-emotional skills workshops; and other interventions that help to restore the individual's dignity, sense of purpose, and self-respect by addressing the issues that ex-offenders may face and are facing in their primary communities.

Our major goal is to use all available resources to establish, innovate, and promote strength-based community cohesiveness in our multicultural communities, as well as to generate economic growth possibilities that enable ex-offenders avoid becoming repeat offenders. Based on this knowledge, IPFA collaborates with a variety of stakeholders to identify critical initiatives that will have the greatest influence in 'the system' in order to create long-term social change.
