Mr. Theledi is an Information Technology Graduate of the University of Johannesburg. Having successfully completed multiple Advanced Project Management & Executive Management courses & currently studying towards an MBA, Mr. Theledi is a thought leader within the Information & Communication Technology sector.
Theledi was a front runner in the roll out of Least-Cost-Routing Cellular services in the country and was Orion Telecoms’ top performing agent within the space, making him a leading activator of corporate mobile services contracts for both MTN and Vodacom via Least Cost Routing contracts. He then joined Blue Label Telecoms as an Equity partner and an Executive Director of multiple entities within the group, more notably as the Co-Managing Director of The Pre-Paid Company and CEO of ZOK Cellular. Theledi led Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and introduced new business channels to the group, which were previously untapped. In 2007, he was an intimate part of the successful listing of Blue Label Telecoms on the JSE, and as the youngest executive within the listing, achieved numerous rewards.
Within this period he acted on his innate interest in the Energy sector by acquiring a BP Retail Service Station in Gauteng, which he operated for a couple of years before selling his interest off to his partners and opting to seek newer opportunities within that very space. Having been raised on a Retail Services Family business, that encompassed Franchised and Non-Franchised Retail Stores, Fuel Retail Outlets and Regional Liquor Wholesale outlets, Theledi has a strong propensity for the Fuel Retail Service space, a space that’s highly complementary to the overall Real-Estate Family business. His extensive experience and exposure to the Retail space provides him invaluable experience for the operating of Fuel Retail Outlets. Theledi, together with Sithole are the founding members of ST Oils, and aim to become the country’s leading Retail Fuel Services company with multiple global oil companies as partners.
In 2015 he established T3 Group as a Technology, Energy and Infrastructure Investment House, which has multiple subsidiaries specialising in Fuel Retail and Wholesale Services, Digital Product Development & Distribution, Data Analytics, Mobile Banking, Digital Content Development, Content Commercialisation, ICT Infrastructure Design and Development, ICT Strategy Development, Mobile Pre & Post-Paid Services, Device Finance & Insurance, Software Development, Mobile Application Development and Managed Services. To date the T3 Group services all the MNOs in the country as well as Multinational Tech companies.
Having worked for IBM in the mid 1990’ to 2001 as a Network Engineer, Systems Integration Specialist and Business Enterprise Architect, he gained extensive experience in designing and developing multiple platforms and integrating them into single systems for multiple organisations such as a Nedbank, Coca-Cola, ABSA and GITOC.
